Texbanker, it's a fact that many engage in the same behaviors you described.

Such people recognize and lament the symptoms and outcomes, yet they deny the obvious correlations and refuse to debate the most likely causalities.

Undesirables are used as pawns by their enablers against the responsible people in society, because corporations and the government have a vested interest in a dumbed-down society.

Such dumbed-down societies are easier to control. Less intelligent patrons willingly accept lower-quality merchandise at higher prices. They return fewer items. They make fewer demands from businesses. They are easier to mislead with advertising and pacify in disputes.

Less intelligent workers willing work for lower wages under unsafe conditions. They are easier to manipulate and use.

Intelligent, responsible people have higher standards and are obviously the polar opposites of less intelligent, irresponsible people.

Which person is more profitable to a corporation and the government? Intelligent, responsible people with higher standards or relatively less intelligent, irresponsible people with lower standards?
