There are state parks closing all over the country because states cannot afford the upkeep. They can work as aids in the schools. I can list 500 jobs they can do. I don't care if it is an hour a day or 10 hours a week. Or whatever. But they damned well ought to have to show up to receive the handout, and they ought to be doing community service or something to earn it.
