Everything I have observed in the behavior of BP and the government validates your conjecture, which I have shared from the start. No multi-billion dollar oil empire could really be so incompetent and unlucky. Are we to be believe they cannot plug the well after months of trying? Please! They cannot contain the damage? Please!!! They have chosen not to because they never intended to in the first place! I believe the agenda goes even further and deeper than you have suggested, Texbanker. The following expanded thoughts are my own and do not reflect your original idea. I believe that every bumbling faux-attempt has been a clever diversion designed to ensure that BP has time to complete the relief well to keep their profits steamrolling in, regardless of how many people and animals are horribly maimed, sickened, and killed in the process. Other likely side benefits that are aiding their traitorous puppets in the U.S. government are... -- The diversion of significant public attention to the calamity while the U.S. government rapidly engages in other destructive actions designed to eradicate our freedom. -- The unnatural reduction of the population in the southern U.S. over time from the consumption of contaminated food and water, exposure to toxic environmental conditions, stress associated with the calamity, etc. -- The decimation of aquatic life, avian life, fauna, and flora in coastal areas and nearby, which will greatly aggravate environmental groups as well as anyone with a modicum of human decency. Consequently, the Cap and Trade legislation will receive a winning boost in political support from environmentalists and others! Coincidence? I seriously doubt it. As many have asserted, I too believe that the U.S. government and their masters engineered the 9/11 terrorism atrocities to (a) boost the profits of their political donors at Haliburton, the oil oligopoly, and all defense contractors, and (b) tighten their control over the citizens of the U.S. Likewise, I think the BP oil disaster in the Gulf was engineered by the U.S. government and their masters for similar reasons; to advance their political agenda, increase their domination of our lives, expand their powers, and implement even tighter controls over free citizens. They will stop at nothing to achieve their objectives, including murdering innocent American citizens and killing untold numbers of animals.
