Over the course of the last 30 years, conservatives have held more years in power than liberals and moderate Democrats. But the men behind the right-wing fury don’t just want their power back; they want more of it than they’ve ever had before. Excellent, excellent article! What particularly worries me is the comments up above. The right is just beginning to realize that whites.....esp. white Christians may not be the majority in the future. This particularly freaks out older whites. They also know that the country as a whole is not as conservative as they are. That terrifies them. I am afraid if they regain power that that will be the end of this democracy.
