None of the recommended solutions in the article will work at this point. The problems are far beyond voting out Frick and voting in Frack. To save the United States, the government should devote its resources -- our tax dollars -- as follows: 1. Find and deport all illegal aliens from the United States. Establish a set timetable for completion, and provide routine public progress reports to taxpayers. 2. Significantly increase law enforcement and expand the criminal justice system, including the construction of many additional jails, prisons, and execution centers for people who cannot manage to behave like civilized human beings. The prisons should not resemble a Holiday Inn Express. They should resemble a brutal Georgia prison chain-gang from the 1920s. 3. Completely phase out all social programs, including the elimination of socialized medicine, welfare, medicare, and the social security program. Regarding the people who have already paid into the social security and medicare schemes, they should be grandfathered and proportionally repaid, not robbed. 4. Significantly decrease all taxes at the federal, state, and local levels. Commensurately eliminate government departments and offices. 5. Reintroduce a poll tax for voting in local, state, and federal elections and repeal the 24th amendment. 6. Eliminate the minimum wage law. 7. Eliminate all forms of affirmative action, EEO, desegregation, housing laws, and similar discriminatory laws, policies, and practices. All qualifiers for race and gender should be unequivocally outlawed. 8. Pass legislation to prevent all states from facilitating or recognizing same-sex "marriages" or "civil unions". 9. Eliminate the income tax and any taxation on interest earned, dividends, the sale of stocks, bonds, leveraged derivatives, or similar financial instruments. 10. Implement a modest use tax (a.k.a. consumption tax), which should be the ONLY tax. 11. Pass legislation to make English the sole, official language of the United States. 12. Reform existing immigration laws to encourage the immigration of desirables from northern Europe and eliminate the immigration of undesirables from the third-world and other uncivilized places. 13. Stop interfering with a woman's right to free choice. Abortion should be unequivocally legal, but late term abortions should be carried out humanely and completely painlessly for the unborn. 14. Force judges to apply the existing laws as they are written instead of misinterpreting laws for politically-motivated reasons. Allow voters to challenge and remove activists from the bench. 15. Execute murderers, rapists, and chronic violent offenders quickly. Executions should take only a month or so at most, not a quarter century. 16. The government should only exist to (a) keep the peace, (b) protect and defend America, (c) administer the criminal justice system, which brokers disputes between citizens, and (d) permanently remove violent criminals from society. 17. The government should completely recuse itself from interfering with any facet of healthy commerce unless a crime is reported. This would allow the natural order of supply and demand to function more efficiently, where the best people, products and services survive and advance, and nature handles the remainder as only nature can. If these changes are implemented, a gradually, steady improvement in our society would evolve over time.
