Morgan Stanley on Friday cut its rating on shares of Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD) to neutral from outperform.
-- 1997 EPS estimate lowered to loss $0.15/shr from break-even.

How did he get the .15/shr loss? For the past 3 q's AMD already has a .15c/shr loss. Jerry himself said that Q4 would result in a loss.

This Bozo, is predicting a breakeven Q4 for AMD now!!

The SEC and Morgan Stanley should look into what he is doing.
Causing those old ladies, to loose their soc security checks.

AMD was up yesterday (to many people's surprise) in sympathy with Intel despite Morgan's down grade and the general market bath. Intel said, to paraphrase, that the processor market was still going to be stong despite all the turmoil. That's nice but it doesn't address AMD's yield problems. I'm short via puts and still feel like I am in the right direction for the short term. Any serious comments anyone?
