Evolve or die. Reminds me of when the hybrid system was being implemented by year-end a few years back. The floor traders and specialists were saying that HYBRID was an acronym for "Have Your Bags Ready In December" That said, trading is a very difficult business, and the fact that a trading firm is laying off 15% of their traders should probably not be a surprise in struggling times. Specialist firms have laid off probably 60% of their collective employees over the past five years.
