And I never understood why any of our presidents were so indulgent of the leaders of Saudi Arabia which still whip girls and stone women to death. I didn't like the deferenece showed by Bush holding hands with the king of Saudi Arabia or Obama. "All it takes for evil men to prevail is for good men to keep still". Or something like that-lol? The US has been complicit with the Saudies for far too long, IMO.
