Is that the whole Muslim community, or just one sect?

Islam is supposed to run under Sharia law. It runs that way in Muslim communities that accept the fundamentalist version of Islam. Which is known as "Salafi." It is common in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Pakistan/Afghanistan. Some African countries also practice it. The really hard versions of it are called Wahhabi, in Saudi Arabia, and Deobandi. in Pakistan/Afghanistan.
