Read slowly...our government's policy was to inspect the rig once a month...stop wasting our time. We know that they failed to follow the policy as they had...and we know that we had failure after they stopped inspecting... The federal agency responsible for ensuring that the Deepwater Horizon was operating safely before it exploded last month fell well short of its own policy that the rig be inspected at least once per month, an Associated Press investigation shows. How do you know they inspected them?
