Oh, you mean just like article 81 under Mexican law? That's how they take care of their southern border. The Mexican government is just as much a bunch of hipocrits as ours. And I live in Mexico.

I believe I would have a high accuracy rate. The one's I was wrong on would be very recent, un-assimilated citizens.

That's not to say cops will not abuse this power.

Not true of course. Have you actually read SB 1070, or just the Dem talking points opposing it?

BTW, immigration law requires lawful non-citizen immigrants to "carry their papers" (i.e, green card) at all times. No biggie for them, only to those who'd flaunt the law and abuse the system. Let alone what Mexico requires from non-resident visitors in their own country (the bunch of flaming hypocrites).
