Put in a guest worker program. Insist it's limited, and the workers leave when it expires. Like it had been done for 100 years. Immigration policy should meet our labor needs, not be a carte blanche for millions to enter unchecked, wherever their port of origin.

They don't want to pick the crops because they don't have to, they're on the dole one way or another. They also don't want to share a 1BR or studio aparment among 3 or 4 family members, like some middle class families in E. European countries still do. It's like the degenerate trust fund kid - he knows at the end of the day he has the safety net and can fuck around indefinitely never having to work and is assured some sort of minimum standard of living far above where it should be.
