For a second there I thought you said the current administration is doing something to cause tax rates to skyrocket. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I believe I said under the current administration taxes will skyrocket. If I wasn't clear then that's what I meant. With Obama's deficit larger than Bush's first year budget, I see a desperate need to raise revenue from any and everywhere. Exactly how much remains to be seen. Perhaps simply printing more money is one solution but that's a tax in the end as well. With the expiration of the current favorable dividend tax rate, we will likely see dividends taxed at ordinary income rates. With the so called Bush tax cuts expiring, all rates will go up. That could easily be over double the current rate for those who have such income. I consider that skyrocketing, perhaps you don't. If you're an AMD shareholder you won't have to worry...
