Sam and Vanni:

I just got off the WDC CC and wanted to relay some comments about specific areas of price pressure.

The pressure in DT that was focused below 2GB has now spread to 2 and 2.5GB areas in the last two weeks. WDC is seeing double digit pricing declines in this area. (as is now well known, Fujitsu seems to be the instigator of this new round of slashing)

WDC managenent is also concerned about the 3GB area going forward.

4GB seem to be OK.
