Here is a discussion of Rush's racist remarks on a right wing nutjob site, hence the "smear" nonsense. theweek.com No, I don't agree with him on the other points. I'm just saying that, for once, he has some slim basis for his bigoted remarks and I can see how somebody with his prejudice could use that slim basis to form these ideas. I disagree with him on the quarterbacks, as I think McNabb was terrific and so was Marino, who Rush didn't attack because he is white. I have no idea how either Oprah or Phil Donahue got rich and famous. Or, for that matter, the incredibly irritating Regis Philbin (I will brook no nonsense about Kelli, as I'm hot to trot with her <G>). Their success has more to do with some loose wires in the female brain than with racism. mediaite.com
