I thought the progressing alzheimers was dreadfully obvious in his second term.

Good eye, I never saw it, but read that alzheimers can be detected in the 20's through sentence structure.

Tip O'neill said he was flaberghasted by how little Raygun paid attention. He said he slept through meetings and was totally out of touch.

But I once saw the story on how a bunch of corporate CEO's tagged him when he was out of work, and then they sold the people a barrel of rotten apples and the people ate it up.

Raygun knew exaclty how to manipulate people. Only the liberals saw through his facade. And they were horrified.

I was in California when he was governor. I watched him close down the mental institutions and put all those poor folks out on the street.

And I watched him systematically bust the unions starting with the air traffic controllers.
