We picked up the first two books of the girl with the dragon tattoo today. I left the third since it was still in hardback. You guys talked me into picking it up. Looks like a really good read. Presently I'm reading a really good book about fascia meridians titled anatomy trains. ( see www.anatomytrains.com ) I thought I understood anatomy after 660 hours of instruction in massage therapy, but this book is way the hell ahead of what I understood. I'm still in chapter one, and it is loaded with 'AHA!' moments about every other page. By their own admission it is ahead of the curve with respect to bodywork and movement therapy, because the ideas in it still have to be evaluated by bodyworkers and movement therapists. My deep tissue teacher has a worn out copy of it. Oddly, it is also drawing upon things learned by surgeons and doctors as far back as the 1800s. The information in it will change many perceptions about how strain is dealt with in the body.
