Upper class whites and upper middle class whites benefit from corporatism and militarism. Most of the people at the Tea Party raves are white. Some of them have employment with the government or with corporations that furnish them with decent health plans, decent retirement plans. They're worried that they'll have to share their prosperity. Probably most of the idiots at the Tea Party raves don't have decent health plans, decent retirement plans. They're just following.
