Its most likely the subs are there for N. Korea situation. After all... they did threaten war if the UN security Council condemned them for the sinking of the S. Korea vessel (which looks like its going to happen). They are only a day or two sailing from being in the 1000mi range. I'm going to Diego Garcia BIOT on the 24th, work there as part of the Pre-Positioned Force.

For all the usa messaging, each and every time, same china response, asymmetry, knock out the satellites and null results, 10 rmb fen on the 1 usd.

In the mean time china messages back, "south china sea is as important to china as Tibet, Taiwan, and Sinkiang are"

More practically and immediately, there would be no give on anything of material interest to team USA.

As we post, Taiwan returning to the fold of full embrace of the ancestral land.

The rise of the new sovereign is inexorable. Pax sinica shall be. Family values, education, learning, civilization, unity, win-win biz, and non-interference are an easier sell than gunboat diplomacy. Imperialism will end in tears, always.
