rather imposing on-the-court trio with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

Do they really think these guys will work as a team, a la Tinkers to Evers to Chance, or do we have 3 prima donnas here?

... though I could hardly care less<g>

I am pleased to report that I have not watched a single NBA game this year that was live or on the telly. And I enjoy life in L.A.!! Consequently, I have not spent 8 bucks for a beer, 30 bucks for a stupid 6 dollar tee shirt, 100 bucks for an 'up close' seat, and 15 bucks for a parking spot.

Additionally, I have not had to put up with the inconsiderate nut cases who stand up BLOCKING YOUR VIEW so they can get a glimpse of Jack Nicholson, DiCaprio, Dyan Cannon, Penny Marshall or Arsenio Hall.

I also have not participated in tipping over a car, broken the glass on an LAPD vehicle nor stolen "stuff" from a broken window store front near the Staples Center. Yeah, I know. I lead a boring existence.

Historically, I routinely watched the Laker coach play college ball at my alma mater. They were just called "forwards" in those days. The "power" adjective was not yet invented by the big sports hucksters. Large cokes were only twenty five cents at the college games. The biggest problem was finding a parking space even though there was no charge.

Overpaid athletes were not the issue back then. My, just imagine how far our country has advanced in the sports industry. Steroids, second, third and fourth chances, B.S., lack of moral character and, you name it, are now common place and readily accepted by the ticket buying public.

Aw, life is just too good as long as we have cable for the games.
