Hollow? You're kidding, right? People tend to forget these aren't their teams and the players are just mercenaries. The fans are more than happy to pay through the nose to think it's their team while the owners (and players) haul off the loot. Then they get mad if a player leaves. Kind of reminds me of voters thinking the government they elect actually is looking out for them first. As for LeBron, Wade and Bosh. Amazing coup by Pat Riley (and Wade) who planned it for years. I expect some veterans to come in a play for the minimum in order to get a ring. Andre Miller and Shaq come to mind. I tried to get tickets yesterday. Guess what... SOLD OUT...
