Folks got very tired of Bush, now rapidly getting there with Obama. It's all about jobs, or, more precisely, the lack of jobs. Many here on Si did not see the radical reforms he promised that would curtail corruption and the constant traffic between Washington and Wall Street. Instead of bringing back Volcker, which many here hoped he would do, he hired Clinton's former financial cronies, those who led us into all this mess. In other words, we are doomed. Not that it wasn't clear shortly after he made his cabinet appointments. Bush's cronies were replaced by Obama's cronies. Not much of a change. mindprod.com
