I believe "organizing" is one of those "commie" things, the right hates. You may not have gotten the memo, but unions are evil and no one needs them any more. While I wouldn't mind paying triple for lettuce- heck I already do pay triple, since I buy from a local organic farmer whom I know, and whose farm I visit- I think many people would scream bloody murder if 1. a fair wage was added in to their food bill and 2. agricultural workers were organized and could have sanitary conditions and a safe working environment. I'm not sure how you think your ideas work in the real world, but I'd love to see you try to implement them.
