I will tell you one thing, whatever happens to me in life won't stop me from being a man (not a mouse) and standing up for what I believe in and free speech. I am anti-war and anti everything military. Some might like to kill me for this stance and I assume you are one of them but since you aren't able to as it is illegal, you would try to silence me with veiled threats that you don't like my interpretation of free speech? Many of the goons that troll this thread managed to chase Mike Shedlock away. Mish was one of the highest profile people here and I'm definite that hundreds of his readers also checked in on this thread. Not anymore. But some of the same people who hate other people for their opinions and who make similar statements like you just made to me ended up depriving other SI members of quality posts from the number one financial blogger in America. The God, who Hawkmoon fights for, Christ Jesus, was disliked by a hell of a lot more than 200 people. Remember that. gongol.com How many of those 69,739 "page views" translated into page views in SI? But those here who had no class and refused to even allow him the courtesy of free speech. There are far too many reactionaries that think silencing others with unpopular opinions is somehow scoring points for their own side as if they are in a war and only their side is right provided they can muster enough other reactionaries to single out certain ones and 'kill' them. These people shouldn't take themselves so seriously because nothing ever silences the truth in the end and just like in the game of 'whack a mole' the fearless defenders and advocates of truth and freedom just pop up somewhere else. If too many people who are against freedom of speech and controversy get control of SI it will gradually become less interesting and more like milquetoast. As far as Hawkmoon is concerned, he is a BIG boy and all through his life learned to defend himself and free speech as one of the principles he fought for. He doesn't need you or anyone else putting words in his mouth. I would never want to see him banished even though I disagree with him on almost everything under the sun and my posts get as many or more recommendations than his. Let the games continue. Just an observation.
