I think quarterbacks are extremely rated both ways. A journeyman who has superb blocking and receivers is considered a physical wonder. A great quarterback who is hit half a second after he puts his hands on the ball, or who has receivers who never break loose, does not get the recognition he deserves. John Elway was both during his career. Ditto for Jim Plunkett. Bum in New England and All Pro in Oakland.

IMHO, McNabb had and may still have skills, guts and brains. He even got his Mama a soup commercial. <G>
