Because the higher the risk the higher the rewards or the down turn. It's a matter of investment style and risk tolerance. You need to have the time to watch these riskier investments so you don't get bitten too badly. If you want to invest for long term, yes you better look at less riskier stocks.

Jag2,

I guess you don't own QWST now. Is that a fair assumption?

Is it also fair to think that you want to buy some, but not at this price?

Is the reason you're here to tell people it's overvalued or how much you lost on other stocks like QWST or that from your perspective, earnings are the prime determinant of a stock's value? Any or all 3?

I just want to understand your exact motivation for participating on this particular thread when there are so many other threads you can participate on where the stock DOES have SOLID NEXT QUARTER EARNINGS...

Regards and good luck with your investments,

Jag

You should have bought NXTL at 12 or 13 like I did. Quit buying stuff so hi and reread my post. I am not advocating buying QWST at present levels, but eagerly look forward to getting in at a nice low price. I like your target of 19 and hope it does get that low, then like I said you and I can both be happy buyers of QWST. Then like you said, the stock will make tons of money 3 years from now and we will do well with it.
