Hi Duane: The essence of a free market is competition. Now that we have a Global market place that competition extends beyond national boundaries. BanglaDesh too had carved out a niche becoming the Shirt Capital of the world. I believe they recently got displaced. It is not just a ? of low wages. The infrastructure and productivity/dollar counts. Fab technology is now well distributed and the old plants are facing faster depreciation as the mask technology changes to accomodate smaller wavelenghts. In brief, we are in transition and you know that being in Limbo is never good for the soul or the pocket. Incidentally, as my pot of gold is small & liquid; I cant afford any spillage.!
