The pictures are incredible, the history is well-written and concise, and I loved that the photographer often explained his technique is capturing the images the way he did. You are so right. Oh my this should be required viewing by every American! The pictures had me riveted this morning. Hundreds of them! Some taken by the same photographer in 1978 and some in the early 2000's. The stark beauty of the country - with more mines than any other country. Recent history has been so cruel.......but then a person could go in a hundred directions talking from and starting with these pictures. Steve
