oh bummer! The big difference is the problem of toxic assets has never ever really been addressed. If the US government doesn't give fannie and freddie the money each and every month for them to pay their clients who own the toxic assets the whole thing collapses. Pension funds and insurance companies around the world. Each and every month the US gives fannie and freedie their payments to meet their payments just kicks the can down the road. I would say these worthless assets are still being carried at face instead of true value. Don't worry! Be happy! the stupid and hopeless comrade chartseer in the new era of not facing reality and taking the consequences.
