"It'd be nice if our country would have built on our moral foundation to "become a more perfect union", not this constant degradation that we see in reality." We've got one party trying to do, at least their vision, of that. The other party is just trying to scuttle it all. What ever happened to compromise and negotiation? Why can't they take an issue, make lists, and make deals? You give me THIS, and you can have THAT. You get rid of THIS, and I'll drop THAT. The two parties used to be able to do that.
