Ignoring the law, part XV in an ongoing series:

market-ticker.org

Why couldn't we (OK, I) figure out the RE bubble?

Didn't know that WS was hoovering up mortgages as gambling fuel.

Didn't know that MERS was fraudulently removing the friction of actually moving those pesky bits of paper around and avoiding paying registrars for their services.

LOL. I always get a good laugh out of people who think markets self-regulate. Sure they do. Here's a thought experiment for the thread. Put a lion in a cage with 10 antelope and then ask him to self-regulate by strongly advising him to let the antelope procreate enough to provide him a steady supply of food. Then come back in a couple months and see how many antelope are still alive.

grusum thinks that there would still be antelope alive because the lion would think beyond his immediate, short-term self-interest. grusum believes self-regulation is actually works. ROTFLMAO. Methinks grusum needs to learn more about the law of the jungle as applied to economies with no regulations.
