entangled in meaningless drama while being unable to have any kind of reasonable discussion about anything That could be the title of a book on today's "political debate" in the US. The sad thing is, it's meaningful to the extent that the BS melodrama has displaced serious debate and progress on important public policy goals.

The Governor of Virginia was on TV this morning saying how when the election is over Obama will be forced to deal with the Republicans . I scream. What has he been trying to do since the election. He has been as conciliatory as any human could be and all his has met with is resistance and out right stonewalling.. What a mess... AND of course they promise to repeal the health care bill. Too much money. HOW about the Bush war in Afghanistan ? The largest part of the budget goes to the Pentagon and wars. The people have to take a rear seat in terms of importance. Boy is the American public snowed... They get it every day from the Rw media.
