Well why not just require that all cars driven in the US be made here???

GeeeZee PeeZee. Nobody can be this stoooooopid. Notice that the Rep is from Mississippi. No rigs, no oil, no USA. Now if you decide to be nice to poor old oil soaked Mississippi, then maybe I can pull my amendment. Clever. I hope that that is what the guy is up to.

I should think that the few bucks retained in America by actually having the rigs fabricated here, would pale by comparison the the $1 billion or so the whole country would send abroad DAILY daily if crude went up $100.

In addition to the list from a year and a half ago of attacks targeted at "big oil" and other real fuel producers we can now say the intent is to shut down offshore drilling in the US.
