2010 German Grand Prix at Hockenheim

Free Practice * Friday *

it seems Ferrari is finally finding its competitive ways again. In a mixed dry & wet session, Fernando Alonso topped the time sheets, followed by Vettel, Massa and Webber,
exchanging top spot amongst these four drivers, immediately below were the Mercedes drivers Rosberg and Schumaher. Both McLaren drivers were having difficulties,
particularly Hamilton who crashed in the morning practice and was not able to go out until very late in the afternoon practice, barely having set up his car for this mixed
condition circuit. Tomorrow, expecting rain, it will be much harder to get a good qualifying time, today Hamilton ended up in 7th, much better than teammate Button in 15th.

If Ferrari is able to break the Red Bull dominance we have seen thus far in the fight for pole position, and assuming that such pole position can be converted into a victory
then, with half a season still to go we may be able to see a three way fight for the lead: Red Bull, McLaren, and Ferrari.
