The Left doesn't understand there are variables besides the tax rate in determining tax revenue.

They routinely ignore the fact that it was the Clinton Tax Cuts that caused the huge economic surge at the end of the 90s. It was the Bush Tax Cuts that gave us what can only be described as an excellent economy throughout the Bush years, up until the very end when Democrat policy collapsed the housing markets.

Well, what we had by late 2008 was the worst economic downturn since the great depression. Any more questions?

It could be argued that they staved off a sure depression.

Give me a break...he was handed a pretty good deal and he turned into a catastrophic mess by the end of his term. Give me a break...
