they are buying short duration stuff, even as their minions try to convince others to go long on long-term garbage

they will not have to sell the short duration stuff; they only need to roll the capital as the short duration stuff matures, every 3, 6, 9, and 12 months, al the way into the peak of say 18-20%, extending duration as they roll, achieving an average end-game of 12+% and 15+ year

also, should they truly be in-the-know or agile and astute, would leverage high as they close in on the 18+% yielding point, thus achive higher average yield for their equity, earn more cap gains, and reach longer duration

at that point, i suspect there would be mysterious calls for cap gain tax reduction, just in time, as always
