These companies can't sustain a business without government funding and institutional research grants. Abengoa is a Spanish company that has been living off the largess of the socialist green movement in Europe. Now they're building an operation in Arizona on our dime.

Obama said--------

"We’re fighting to speed up this recovery and keep the economy growing by all means possible,” the president said in his July 3 address. Clean energy, he said, has the potential to “create whole new industries and hundreds of thousands of new jobs in America.”"

In reply-----------

There is no such thing as "clean energy"------it takes energy to produce energy, it takes energy to produce the materials that go into the production of solar panels--------Obama is simply hopping on the latest bandwagon or the bandwagon that contributed to his campaign.

This is crowd pleasing for some portion of his voters who embrace building solar panels, then paying to have them installed, and then maintaining them if possible.

Is this a boondoggle---------ah, now I see, This is Obama attempting to buy votes in "Arizona" for the Democrats, send a lot of money and they will vote for the Demorat. Doubtful, politically thin is paper thin.
