To make society a safer, more civilized place, I recommend executing about 1000 per hour. I don't mean the painfully slow process of carefully strapping a single felon to a gurney and connecting him to a lethal drip. Instead, the authorities should use large, airtight hangars connected directly to lethal gas pipes. They should march the felons in, 500 at a time, seal the place completely, and turn the gas on. After the sentence is carried out, they can use other felons to carry the dead bodies to a large cremation facility. Then, simply repeat and rinse. Society would gradually improve. The U.S. is far too soft on violent crime. It's way past time for the nation to exterminate the problems. We can no longer afford to coddle violent criminals. Murders, rapists, thieves, those guilty of unprovoked assault, and those who torture defenseless animals should be sent on a one-way trip down memory lane. We should bring back debtors prison too. Many in Congress should be the inaugural inmates.
