I respect your opinion, but disagree. The problem isn't our hardworking little brown brothers. It's about the rule of law, how it provides for some who can't, and others who aren't given the opportunity. It's about a government that (due to excesses of the past) now has a very limited reach and has a very narrow margin of error as a result. Mexico needs the hard workers. IT needs to learn how to harness them. We have limits to how much poverty we can accomodate, and it will only get worse in the years to come.

Hear hear, Tommaso! Great post. I feel much the same way. We have a problem of Entitlement in this country. Everyone feels entitled to king's riches without feeling the need to work for it. Of course, I wish that a few more of our "brown brothers" were paying taxes while doing those jobs. That would make me much more inclined to side with them. Then again, we should give them the opportunity to be legally employed here as well.
