I've been to the chiropractor, and he's a good one. He ordered xrays which will come in handy. Daughter says get an MRI and insist on it, which I think I will. I'm going to have my regular doctor coordinate treatment because I don't want to get into conflicting opinions and get all confused.

This is going to mess up my summer, I'm afraid. I had high hopes of going to Salmon Mountain for a week at the end of August as a volunteer fire lookout. It's become the highlight of my year, and I don't want to miss it. If I have a slow recovery I don't dare try it. Also had another strenuous expedition planned, which also disappoints.

Thank you very much for your concern.

No doubt you've seen the Air Force Museum at Wright-Pat. I was very impressed with it. They even had a little mockup of a POW camp like the one my FIL was in, complete with an original Klim can. Klim = milK (powdered). They liked the cans better than the milk because they used them as cooking and heating stoves, and many other uses.

I had to migrate to the floor because any soft surface makes it worse. If I lay on my back with my left leg up on the couch it helps. Been there since last night.
