Crude on the beach is the best sun block on the planet. Besides surfboarding on, “beached oil” is much easier than in the surf. What is a real tragedy is the species of animals that only 40 years ago made Pensacola their home, no longer exist.

They are all gone which is something I can document as I grew up in Pensacola Sound in the 70’s. Diving for scallops and catching pompano in the surf are gone. Giant land crabs are no longer on the beaches. Rare sightings of whales stopped decades ago thanks to massive over development and no concern for the environment. Greed as taken over.

Now we have oil on the beaches!! Will I be compensated? Who can we sue and then who can we complain to when we have to pay $8 for unleaded. If I were a politician I would be doing exactly what the Obama Administration is doing as we the people are getting the exact type of government we deserve.
