It's the proverbial lipstick on a pig dilemma
They can't keep covering up the problems with more deficit spending and call it recovery.
Problems start at the home
No job security, no home, no furnish
They had their pop from the tax credit. Now it's back to the grindstone

Home furnishings store sales decline 1.1% in June

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Commerce Dept. reported June sales at furniture and home furnishings stores fell 1.1% in June from May, and overall retail sales were off 0.5%.

According to the report, furniture sales were $7.54 billion for the month, a decrease from $7.63 billion in May, but up from $7.42 billion in sales for the same period a year ago.

Overall adjusted U.S. retail and food services sales in June decreased to $360.2 billion from $362.0 billion in May. The decline was worse than many analysts were projecting, according to news reports. Click here to read an Associated Press story.
