Green agit-prop coming soon - "The Big Oil Welfare Tax"

Never mind that many of the tax provisions called into question are enjoyed by other industries too. We can attack them later.

Examples include:
Section 199 of the tax code allows all manufacturers to deduct their manufacturing expenses. The purpose is to keep jobs in the United States.
The 'dual capacity' tax provision, which enables all U.S. companies to operate and produce goods and services in other countries without having their profits taxed twice. Who cares if U.S. companies can compete on a level playing field with foreign competitors?

The percentage royalty deduction will be trotted out despite that "big oil" hasn't enjoyed that deduction since the early 1970's.

The Big Oil Welfare Tax or maybe the The Secret Big Oil Welfare Tax - you read it here first.
