Then he proceeded to destroy all of it, and leave us with what Obama is having to fix today...the worst economic mess in 80 years. Stop with the Democrat talking points already. The economy faced specific troubles, but they were not caused by anything GWB did, and it is a fact that the debt is growing today at a pace that is far beyond anything encountered during the Bush years. If you want to blame Bush for some of the economic woes, fine -- but the American People today blame it more on Obama than on Bush and they've got it right. The problems are far bigger today BECAUSE of what Obama did. He has taken a bad situation and made it worse. He said if we gave him a trillion dollars he could fix it. So, we dutifully mortgaged our kids futures, and what we got was a far worse economy than what Obama inherited.
