I thought that the founding fathers were big on freedom of religion.

That was the country we used to live in before the xenophobes took over.

Saudi Arabia of course never had that tradition.

Like a lot of things we are losing to ignorance, it is stunning that we would defend an unAmerican practice by comparing the US to a bastion of intolerance.
