Right.. We are talking about losing track of
$ 70M worth of product !!!!

Assuming this ocurred over a 6 month timeframe, that equates
to roughly 25 % of total S3 sales during this same period.

Now, Asia distributors don't necessarily handle all of S3 sales,
so if we assume that they handle as much as 50 %, then
S3 people were off the mark in inventory tracking by about --

$70M divided by $ 120M or about 58 % .

So Asia was actually selling through to end customers
far less than 1/2 of of the sales which S3 finance dept
attributed to them. In this fast changing market the numbers
usually are tracked more precisely than these people at S3
would lead you believe.

This, again, is incomprehensible !!! This can't be a causal
mistake..
