Very Good questions Barry !

I meditate and pray to Lord Jesus every morning and evening,
remembering to express thanks many times daily, not only at
Thanksgiving ...

I respect this thread very much, but really can't share here about my Kriya Yoga practice. It's simply TOO profound in my heart ...

To have an idea, please let me post a quote frome Los Angeles Times,
January 28, 1925:
"The Philharmonic Auditorium presents the extraordinary spectacle of thousands... being turned away an hour before the advertised opening of a lecture with the 3000-seat hall filled to its utmost capacity. Swami Yogananda is the attraction. A Hindu invading the United States to bring God in the mist of a Christian community, preaching the essence of Christian doctrine."

The best reading to help you would be:
"Autobiography of a Yogi", by Paramahansa Yogananda.
In a review about this book, the Nobel laureate Thomas Mann said:
"I am grateful to you for granting me some insight into this fascinating world."

God Bless You All !
