Do you work for your account dept? A friend of mine told me that some of the companies in the name of R&D don't really help compnaies to develop new products - This is a dirty thing(from my point). Of course, it is legal and Uncle Sam can't do anything. The right thing (from my point) is right money for right person to do right job. The big budget of R&D doesn't mean anything from WS analysts view. In some level, R&D will help the companies to develop new products but beyond another level, R&D may waste companies money. What wrong with cutting of R&D budget? I don't understand why you guys are so nervous of "cutting" Intel's R&D. "Cut" doesn't mean kill the future of the company itself, and some time it will help the company. IBM cuts its R&D and WS analysts warmly welcome. Do you think IBM's cutting of R&D will hurt its future? Guy, don't worship R&D. Does Intel's big R&D pressure down motherboard, networking, graphic hardware and flash memory makers?

Wake up, Guy! Screwing up future, you will get nothing.

Best wishes

James
