Doug

I think we will hold around these numbers unless there is more bad news. I do not expect a climb until after quarterly report and CC.

This is a good place for speculators to play.

It looks like short sellers have come out from their graves
to short 3COMS big time again. Remember the quick run up in
5/97 - 6/97 from the short covering?

The shorters are pumping up this thread to try to convince others
to short so they can cover, for me this is a good sign for 3Com long
holders.

The pattern repeats itself again. Around this time of the quarter,
the stock price will go down and people will talk about COMS not
being able to meet their numbers.

It looks like it is a good time to buy LEAPs again.

It is unfortunate that after a few points drop the worm's come out of hiding. A dozen posts by a single individual, warning the COMS cattle, that the their world is about to come to a close, frightens me not! Get real pal, your scare tactics fool no one.

COMS is a class company who will ultimately live to see another day, month and year in the market place. I doubt very seriously that Eric B. and company are concerned over Dougjn's misguided thoughts about their future.

<I think there are lots of signals that coms will again miss its quarter, perhaps seriously.> May I suggest you wake up from your dream and apply immediately for a position with the psychic hotline connection.

Making money in a company you have invested in does not always come without pain. The short term market cycles should not scare any serious investor into selling a single share. Stay the course with COMS, while the shorts and bandits have their brief moment in the sun, and you will be rewarded handsomely.
