O Wise One, GG sure stirs up the discussion...Question regarding the chip-equiment makers NVLS AMAT, etc(also test equipment VECO, ASMLF, etc)-- wouldn't their sales be tied more to the level of the world economy, rather than to the health of any particular region?... that is, if the world economy is healthy, "Somebody" will build the chips, and thus need the chip-making equipment, right? They are also indifferent as to whether LSI or VSLI gets the contract for a new telecom chip...they sell to the winner, no? So what's your analysis/advice regarding those folks under current/projected conditions? ((If you've got your courses whipped, we'll impose on your analytic time <g>)) TSO
